That is the amount of time that has passed since November 2022, or 35 games ago, when Rotherham United last triumphed in a Championship away encounter.
Nine victories is a maybe a more striking figure.
Nine wins in 114 second-tier matches is the number of league games the Millers have won when traveling during the last five seasons.
It’s an incredible number, and if Rotherham loses at Ashton Gate tonight, it would match their unfortunate record of having no away wins in a season, which also occurred during their dreadful relegation campaign of 2016–17.
The Millers set a record low for points in a season that season with 23 points. After securing a point against Birmingham City in Steve Evans’ debut game in command last week, they have at least managed to avoid matching that total.
They are trying to stay out of the spotlight today.
“They (Bristol City) are an excellent side,” Evans stated. They have hunger and are youthful. The manager was brought in to serve a certain role.
“This is a team that ought to be really challenging for the Premier League. We need to have a strategy. It will be a long afternoon if we don’t.However, as a management team, we’re well known for shocking people by visiting unexpected locations, such as (Aston) Villa in the cup with Stevenage the previous season.”
“I went on a cruise about three or four weeks ago,” Stewart remarked. I couldn’t help but want to get off the ship as soon as it occurred to me.
“I’m really happy with it. It is not a riddle. I’m really optimistic because I know this person and what he’s capable of. He has demonstrated it.
“I am aware of the budget he worked on both here and last year. We’re a bigger club than Stevenage, so I know I’m providing him an opportunity to bring in stronger players.
