Christian Benteke (D.C. United): Atlanta United’s defense must keep a watch on the 6-foot-3 forward for D.C. United, Christian Benteke. Benteke got off to a great start to the season, leading D.C. United to a 3-1 victory on the opening weekend. His hat trick earned him the title of MLS Player of the Matchday for the 2024 campaign.
He has now added five more goals in Major League Soccer, increasing his season total to eight goals, which is good enough to put him third in the running for the Golden Boot.
