Before the Celtics’ Game 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Barkley expressed his worries about Boston’s offensive strategy during an Inside the NBA segment. Pointing out an excessive emphasis on one-on-one play, he called it the “worst offense” he had ever seen.
“They’re the worst offense against adults that I’ve seen.” Barkley said, “The way they play offense right now, they can’t win a championship like that. It’s like they just give the ball to one guy and go 1-on-1.”
