Less than a month after getting shot in a Florida bar, wide receiver Tank Dell of the Houston Texans is showing positive signs of recovery.
Delfonte Diamond, Dell’s trainer, shared a video of the Texans wide receiver working routes on Saturday. Throughout the workouts, Dell appeared to be operating at full speed and had no signs of injury.
In the Florida incident, Dell was an innocent spectator; according to the Texans, the wide receiver had a “minor” bullet wound. According to Aaron Wilson of Houston’s KPRC 2, Dell sustained a “flesh wound” on Saturday that passed through one leg and out the other without causing any structural damage.
One of Houston’s most impressive rookies in 2023, Dell got along well with quarterback CJ Stroud right on. As a rookie, he caught 47 receptions for 709 yards and seven touchdowns. Going ahead, he should play a significant part in the Texans’ offense.
