According to ESPN, 12-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul has agreed to a contract with the San Antonio Spurs.

According to an Adrian Wojnarowski article on X, Paul reached an agreement to sign a one-year contract for at least $11 million.

According to league sources, Paul was released by the Golden State Warriors before to the Sunday deadline that would have secured his contract for the upcoming campaign.

Paul will now be partnered with Victor Wembanyama, a French sensation.

Throughout his remarkable NBA career, Paul has graced six different teams, the most recent being Golden State.

After graduating from Wake Forest University, he entered the league in 2005 and made an early impression on the New Orleans Hornets.

Paul spent six seasons playing with the Clippers in Los Angeles after leaving New Orleans.

Paul, who turned 39 in May, may provide seasoned leadership to the Spurs team.
