In ESPN’s most recent 2025 mock draft, the Bengals selected an SEC wide receiver to take Tee Higgins’ spot. With the 25th pick, Matt Miller has Cincinnati selecting Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond.
“Tee Higgins may have signed his franchise-tag tender, but that doesn’t mean the Bengals have a long-term resolution yet for the talented WR2,” Miller stated. “Jermaine Burton was selected by the Bengals in the draft to take Tyler Boyd’s spot, but receiving may still be a top priority in the upcoming selection. With his exceptional downfield speed, Bond, an Alabama transfer, will play the Xavier Worthy position in the Texas attack. Despite the Alabama offense’s difficulty in maintaining consistency in the pass game, he averaged 13.9 yards per grab and scored four touchdowns in the previous campaign. Bond has enormous potential under Steve Sarkisian’s system as well.”
