This summer, the Boston Celtics have made a number of significant changes, but one of those adjustments will actually seem rather familiar.
Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports that God Shammgo Jdr. and Da’Sean Butler are “likely” to join the Celtics coaching staff in player development and video coordinator capacities.
The news of Shammgod’s arrival broke last week.
With Shammgod and Butler joining Sam Cassell, D.J. MacLeay, Tony Dobbins, and Matt Reynolds, the Celtics’ roster appears to be coming together. After Blaine Mueller and Jermaine Bucknor resigned to become head coach of the Charlotte Hornets, Charles Lee took over as head coach.
Mazzulla’s squad won’t likely see any more signings from Boston, however openings for new coaches could exist.
