Good News: “Celtics’ Former Teammate Signs Agreement To Rejoin The Team In Exciting Turn Of Events”

Mazzulla is now a member of Butler’s coaching team. After serving as an assistant at WVU last season, he now joins the staff of his old teammate to take on his first NBA coaching role.

With Shammgod and Butler joining Sam Cassell, D.J. MacLeay, Tony Dobbins, and Matt Reynolds, the Celtics’ roster appears to be coming together. After Blaine Mueller and Jermaine Bucknor resigned to become head coach of the Charlotte Hornets, Charles Lee took over as head coach.

Mazzulla’s squad won’t likely see any more signings from Boston, however openings for new coaches could exist.
