According to reports, the 27-year-old will be leaving Fenerbahce after just one season in the top division of Turkey. Although he transferred from Rangers to the club last year, the move has not yet clicked.
Before leaving for Turkey, he was connected to a number of teams, including Sheffield United and Leeds United. The wide player was reportedly a longtime fan of Leeds’, having been mentioned as a target at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa’s leadership.
Kent, who began his career at Liverpool and spent the 2016–17 season on loan at Barnsley, would have returned to Yorkshire with a transfer to Elland Road or Bramall Lane.
Throughout his 47 Reds appearances, he recorded three goals and three assists. He was named the team’s Young Player of the Year at the conclusion of the campaign.
