Next week, the Green Bay Packers start training camp, and everyone is asking when Jordan Love will get a new deal. Brian Gutekunst, the general manager of the Packers, has said in the past that he wants to close a deal before training camp. That goal needs to be reached soon. It was only a small bit more clear today, though, when Love talked to reporters while running a football camp for kids in Milwaukee.
Twitter, of Jordan Love being asked about Gutekunst’s remarks from the month before. The question was cut off by someone outside the camera shot, and Love smiled big. He then said “news to come,” which was the same thing the person off camera had said. Even though he didn’t say much, I think it’s safe to say that an official release is coming soon. Just look at that smile.
