Zach LaVine, an All-Star for the Chicago Bulls, is apparently no longer available for trade, which may lead an unexpected Western Conference team to try to take advantage.
According to reports, the Los Angeles Clippers are considering a bid for LaVine’s services. According to Chicago Sun-Times columnist Joe Cowley, the Clippers are still in the running for LaVine, “before the season or at the deadline.”
The Bulls have recently displayed a desperate attempt to locate a trade partner that is prepared to acquire LaVine. The 29-year-old’s current deal has three years and over $140 million left on it.
The Bulls allegedly dramatically reduced their asking price in May due to a lack of interest in LaVine. Since then, the price has most likely dropped considerably further.
But LaVine has struggled with injuries throughout of his professional life. Only once since the 2016–17 campaign has he gone beyond the 70-game mark.
If the Clippers decide to recruit LaVine, they might have to update their training staff because Kawhi Leonard is currently a member of the squad.
