Shandon Baptiste and Reuell Walters, two summer additions to Luton, will make their debuts for the club this afternoon when they play Turkish Süper Lig team Göztepe in Slovenia. Luton manager Rob Edwards will get his first glimpse at both players.
Baptiste, 26, signed a contract with the Hatters earlier this month after his deal with Brentford ended in the summer. Baptiste came at Kenilworth Road. After rejecting a new contract to remain with Premier League runners-up Arsenal and go in quest of more regular first team play, 19-year-old Walters quickly followed him.
Edwards has chosen a formidable lineup that includes the two of them, Alfie Doughty, Chiedozie Ogbene, and Elijah Adebayo, all of whom start. Tom Holmes is also getting more and more playing time, while Carlton Morris is sidelined and center half Teden Mengi is also out.
