Justin Herbert, the quarterback for the Chargers, resumed practice on Monday, per C. This was his first time participating since the end of July, when he was diagnosed with a plantar fascia ailment in his right foot.
Herbert has been out of action for the past two weeks while sporting a walking boot. The organization stated that they always anticipated his being ready by Week 1 following the completion of a “gradual return to play protocol.”
The news that Justin Herbert would soon be healthy again delighted Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh.
