GOOD NEWS: As Kentucky Wildcats Confirm The Signing Of Fans Favorite Making It Their Major Asset

Last week, Malachi Moreno—the hometown kid—decided to stay home and play for the Kentucky Wildcats, giving Kentucky their first 2025 recruit. Moreno, who is rated as the 2025 class’ top center, will be a major asset to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Given that Coach Mark Pope has already signed a seven-footer, the question is whether or not he will look to sign another in the 2025 class. It appears that the answer to this question is definitely true, as Coach Pope and the Kentucky staff continue to pursue four-star center Eric Reibe even after acquiring Moreno. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, the seven-footer from Potomac, Maryland, is ranked as the 38th best player. He has arranged visits to Kentucky, Kansas, UConn, North Carolina, and Indiana, and his offer list is enormous.

Many believed that Reibe would postpone his trip to Kentucky after Moreno made his commitment, but that was untrue. Reibe informed KSR that Coach Pope is still pursuing Moreno and that he still intended to pay him a visit after Moreno committed. It appears like Coach Pope intends to select two outstanding seven-foot players for the 2025 class.

Reibe is a fantastic player who can shoot, pass, dribble, block shots, and score near the rim. He plays the game exactly what Coach Pope desires from his five man. There’s a reason why all of the Blue Bloods are chasing Reibe, and it seems like the Wildcats are still recruiting for the center position even after Kentucky signed Moreno.
