**Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney Confirms Jeremy Swayman Will Not Attend Training Camp**

On Wednesday, Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney made it clear that unsigned restricted free-agent goaltender Jeremy Swayman will not participate in training camp without a contract.

Sweeney expressed disappointment over Swayman’s absence, but he remains hopeful that the 25-year-old from Anchorage, AK, will be signed before the December 1 RFA deadline.

Drafted 111th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft from the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede, Swayman was expected to take on the role of the Bruins’ No. 1 goaltender after Linus Ullmark was traded to the Ottawa Senators during the offseason.

Over the past three seasons, Swayman has shared goaltending duties with Ullmark, appearing in 44 games during the 2023-2024 season. He recorded a 25-10-8 record, with a goals against average of 2.53 and a .917 save percentage. In 2024, he was selected as an All-Star and, alongside Ullmark, won the William M. Jennings Trophy for having the fewest goals against in a season.
