**Spurs Waive Jamaree Bouyea, Opening Two-Way Roster Spot**
The San Antonio Spurs announced on Sunday that they have waived guard Jamaree Bouyea, creating an open two-way roster spot as they continue to refine their lineup.
Bouyea, who was signed to a two-way contract last season after a stint in Portland, appeared in just three games for the Spurs. Despite his impressive performance in the G League and a solid showing during the recent Summer League—where he averaged 11.8 points, 3.6 assists, two rebounds, and three steals in 24.3 minutes across five games—he wasn’t able to secure a regular roster position.
With Bouyea’s departure, the Spurs now have a vacant two-way spot. Currently, David Duke Jr. and Harrison Ingram occupy two of the three available two-way slots, along with an offseason spot that can accommodate a player on a make-good deal. As training camp approaches, the Spurs might consider adding a larger player to strengthen their frontcourt, given their need for more size.
Training camp for the Spurs begins later this month, with their first preseason game scheduled for October 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
