Alabama men’s basketball secured its second commitment for the 2025 recruiting class on Saturday, signing 4-star power forward London Jemison. Standing 6-foot-8 and weighing 195 pounds, Jemison hails from St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Connecticut. He is ranked as the consensus No. 38 player nationally, the No. 9 power forward, and the top prospect in Connecticut, according to On3 Recruiting.
Jemison chose Alabama over strong contenders like Kansas and Louisville, having narrowed his options down from previous interests including Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Syracuse. He received an offer from head coach Nate Oats and assistant Preston Murphy on May 31, and visited the Tuscaloosa campus on September 6, as reported by 247 Sports.
He joins 6-foot-7 small forward Amari Allen, who committed on September 10. Allen is ranked as the No. 4 player in Wisconsin and the No. 98 overall player, also according to the 247Sports Composite. He selected Alabama over schools like Central Florida and Mississippi State.
Another notable target is AJ Dybantsa, the top player in the class, who has placed Alabama among his top seven schools, alongside Auburn and North Carolina, among others. He is set to visit Alabama from September 27-29, coinciding with a high-stakes football game against Georgia.
Both Jemison and Dybantsa are part of Expressions Elite Basketball, a grassroots program showcasing top talent from New England.
