### Stephen Curry and Warriors Agree to Contract Extension Through 2026-27 Season
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have finalized a contract extension for the 2026-27 season, with the NBA’s all-time leader in three-pointers set to earn nearly $63 million. Curry’s agent, Jeff Austin from Octagon, confirmed the deal to the Associated Press on Thursday, following an initial report from ESPN.
With this agreement, Curry is now guaranteed approximately $178 million over the next three seasons. This includes about $55.8 million for the current season, around $59.6 million for 2025-26, and the maximum allowable amount of roughly $62.6 million for 2026-27.
By the end of this extension, Curry’s on-court earnings will total about $532 million, placing him second in NBA history, trailing only LeBron James’ $580 million in player contracts.
At 36, Curry is entering his 16th season with the Warriors, where he has made a significant impact as a 10-time All-Star and 10-time All-NBA selection. He has contributed to four championships and won two MVP awards. This summer, he also represented the United States at the Paris Olympics, showcasing his skills in a thrilling fourth-quarter performance against France to secure gold.
Last season, Curry averaged 26.4 points per game, bringing his career average to 24.8 points in the regular season.
