The Boston Bruins have placed Michael DiPietro, Vinni Lettieri, and Jordan Oesterle on waivers. This move follows the Bruins’ acquisition of goaltender Jiri Patera via waivers, making DiPietro’s waiver placement expected. Last season, DiPietro played 30 games for the Providence Bruins, achieving an 18-9-2 record with a .918 save percentage and a 2.51 goals-against average. Lettieri joined the Bruins in the off-season through a trade with the Minnesota Wild involving Jakub Lauko. The 29-year-old played 46 games for the Wild last season, scoring five goals and totaling nine points, along with eight points in 10 games with the Iowa Wild.
