The Buffalo Bills will aim to extend their five-game winning streak when they face the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday. Despite battling injuries throughout the season, the Bills are beginning to regain some health on defense just in time for their playoff push.
However, if they want to further bolster their defensive depth, a new opportunity has just emerged. The Seattle Seahawks unexpectedly waived linebacker Tyrel Dodson on Monday. Dodson, who currently leads the Seahawks with 71 total tackles in nine games, spent the first five years of his career with the Bills after going undrafted in 2019. In 2023, Dodson started a career-high 10 games for Buffalo, stepping in when Matt Milano was injured.
He ended the season with 74 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. While Milano is expected to return soon from injured reserve after the team opened his 21-day practice window, bringing Dodson back could provide additional depth at linebacker.
