However, Allen’s dramatic play didn’t go unnoticed by Tom Brady, often regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time. Speaking on the “Let’s Go” podcast alongside his former coach Bill Belichick, Brady praised Allen for his decision-making.
Brady noted that while Allen occasionally makes mistakes, his ability to manage the game and avoid putting his team at risk is key. “It’s like one good play, one bad play, one good play, one bad play. Everyone’s like ‘I love the physical potential,’ but I don’t like the inconsistency of making a great play followed by a mistake,” Brady remarked. The seven-time Super Bowl champion emphasized that true greatness in the NFL comes from consistent excellence. “Everyone can make a great play, but how often can you do it?” Brady explained, stressing that consistency is what separates great players from average ones.
