Linebacker Bryun Parham has transferred from the University of Washington to the University of Connecticut (UConn). Parham, originally from Long Beach, California, played high school football at Long Beach Poly High School. He began his collegiate career at San Jose State, where he played for three seasons, accumulating 199 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, one interception, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

In 2024, Parham transferred to Washington. During his time with the Huskies, he appeared in four games, recording 11 tackles and one forced fumble, while preserving his redshirt status. Following the Northwestern game, Parham decided to redshirt and entered the transfer portal on September 27, 2024.

On December 22, 2024, Parham committed to UConn, joining the Huskies with one year of eligibility remaining. His addition is expected to bolster UConn’s defense, which is undergoing changes due to several players graduating.

Parham’s journey reflects a pursuit of greater playing opportunities, as he seeks to make a significant impact in his final collegiate season.
