Good News; Victoria Tomova Drops in WTA Rankings, While Grigor Dimitrov and Rising Star Dimitar Kuzmanov Shine on the Global Stage
Bulgaria’s top female tennis player, Victoria Tomova, has dropped one position in the latest Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings. The 30-year-old from Sofia now holds the 64th spot with a total of 981 points.
Gergana Topalova remains Bulgaria’s second-ranked player at 341st, followed closely by Liya Karatancheva at 345th.
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka continues to lead the women’s rankings with 9,606 points, followed by Poland’s Iga Świątek and American Coco Gauff.

Dimitar Kuzmanov, Bulgaria’s third-ranked male player, made significant progress, rising 97 spots after winning the Challenger title in Greece. He is now ranked 279th with 190 points.
In the men’s rankings, Italian Jannik Sinner, the Australian Open champion, remains in the top spot with 11,330 points.
