Шокиращо: Току-що, Джокович се цели във финала на Маями Оупън, докато изтощеният Димитров се бори с трудностите

Shocking;  Just Now, Djokovic Targets Miami Open Final As Fatigued Dimitrov Battles The Odds

Novak Djokovic, fresh off becoming the oldest Masters semi-finalist on the ATP Tour, is on a mission to reclaim the Miami Open title for the first time since 2016. The six-time champion faces a physically drained Grigor Dimitrov in Friday’s semi-final, looking to extend his dominance in the tournament.

Djokovic, who remains unbeaten in Miami semi-finals, showcased his signature resilience in a straight-sets victory over Sebastian Korda, winning 6-3, 7-6(4). The 99-time ATP champion recovered from a second-set deficit, avoiding a deciding set and reinforcing his reputation for consistency under pressure.

At 37 years and 10 months, Djokovic surpasses Roger Federer as the oldest player to reach a Miami semi-final, highlighting his extraordinary longevity. This marks his 79th Masters semi-final and his eighth in Miami, as he pushes for his first tour-level final since Shanghai last October.

His opponent, Dimitrov, has spent significantly more time on court, battling through a grueling quarter-final against Francisco Cerundolo that lasted nearly three hours. The Bulgarian has already endured multiple marathon matches in Miami, putting him at a considerable disadvantage against Djokovic, who has progressed with minimal effort.

History also favors the Serbian, with Dimitrov managing just one win in 13 meetings against him. The Bulgarian, seeking his 10th ATP title and second Masters 1000 crown, faces a daunting challenge against an opponent who thrives in high-stakes matches.

With Djokovic in peak form and Dimitrov fighting exhaustion, the Serbian’s path to another Miami Open final appears well within reach.
