Breaking: Just Now Lakers Replaced Their Waived Player With Another High Rated Top Experienced Star And Fans Fav.

Finally, it appears as though the Lakers are prepared to sign rookie big man Christian Koloko this offseason. The organization has to take action to clear a place, even though it is an excellent value two-way contract.

Fans received their response on Sunday. HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reports that Blake Hinson will be waived by the organization.

Two-way guard Blake Hinson of the Los Angeles Lakers has been waived, sources told @hoopshype. In Pittsburgh, Hinson scored 18.5 points on average and made 42.1% of his 3-point shots. After the draft, teams were fascinated by the 6-foot-8 guard’s shooting ability. It is now expected of him to show interest in autonomy.

After the 2024 NBA Draft, Hinson was signed this spring, and there was cause for hope for him. He might help the Lakers with their long-standing shooting problem as a floor-spacing big man.

However, his performance in Summer League did not inspire much hope. He made 21 of 64 3-pointers in eight games. However, he was a combined 10-21 in his first and last game. He made 11-43 shots in the six games in the middle.

It seems sense that the Lakers would cut hook on him given how one-dimensional he is and how much he failed in that area this summer. In a similar vein, the Lakers have a good amount of depth at the forward position, even though his shooting is fascinating.

Raptors sign 2022 draft pick Christian Koloko to multi-year contract
Overall, there was a good deal of reasoning behind Hinson’s release. In the end, it’s hardly worth getting worked up over him being waived.

The team may have a problem if Koloko’s deal goes through because of his limited availability to the NBA squad. But that presents a challenge for the Lakers of the future. They will have plenty of time to work things out before then.
