Ohio State University has secured head football coach Ryan Day with a seven-year contract extension, valued at $12.5 million annually, extending his leadership through the 2031 season. This agreement awaits approval from the university’s board of trustees.

Under Day’s guidance, the Buckeyes clinched the College Football Playoff (CFP) national championship in January, making him one of only three active coaches to achieve this feat. The Buckeyes concluded the regular season with a 10-2 record.
